Becca
Becca is a believer in all things magical, and is here to preserve the beauty & wonder of childhood. Her love of teaching began at 4 years old when deciding she wanted to be a kindergarten teacher. Her professional teaching journey started in St. Augustine, Florida where she worked with Americorps: Communities In Schools, teaching third grade reading.
After earning a Bachelors of Art in Psychology at UMBC, Becca made her way to the mountains of Colorado. It's here that she discovered Waldorf education, and felt her heart & soul guide her to teaching again. From beginning as a kindergarten assistant at Mountain Sage Community School to becoming a lead teacher at River Song Waldorf School, she always feels truly honored to meet each child who crosses her path.
Becca received her Early Childhood Waldorf teacher certification through Sound Circle Center for Arts and Anthroposophy. Now, as a mother of (almost) three, she is ready to embark on her next journey by offering a a nature-based after school program for youth who identify as girls. She is honored to hold space for our younger sisters to feel safe to bloom into their highest selves while finding the soft landing that is a circle of women and girls.
